La Margarita farm is led by the patriarch of the Solorzano family, with the third generation now responsible for the farm’s day-to-day work. This intergenerational structure has allowed knowledge, values, and farming practices to evolve while remaining deeply rooted in tradition.

La Margarita is located in the tropical zone of Carmen Alto, one of the most representative coffee-growing areas within La Convención. Sitting at 1,900 masl, the farm benefits from warm daytime temperatures balanced by cool nights, creating ideal conditions for coffee.

With a total area of 3.5 hectares, the farm focuses on careful lot separation and slow, controlled post-harvest practices, allowing high-quality varieties such as Gesha to fully express their potential.
